About us
ESAOM CESA, also known as Cantieri Navali di Portoferraio, is a historic boat-building and marina business, founded in 1940, which has grown over time thanks in part to its extremely strategic location.
In fact, the sheltered Portoferraio roads are at a Mediterranean crossroads, and the availability of ample space on land has enabled the creation of a business that has forged a unique bond between Elban craftsmen and the manual skills typical of seafaring folk.
With the development of yachting and nautical tourism, since the ’70s ESAOM CESA has become the key support base for yachtsmen passing through the Tuscan Archipelago and home port for all those who have chosen the Island of Elba as the permanent mooring for their yachts.
Today the clientele is international and ranges from private owners to yacht charter and management firms, freight and commercial services business, and institutions.
